Sketch, Improv, and Standup
Monique's performing career started in 2002 when she started doing improv and sketch comedy in her hometown of Kansas City. She moved to Chicago in 2003, where she performed with The Second City on board Norwegian Cruise Lines, as well as iO Chicago, Comedy Sportz, The Chicago Comedy Company, and The Annoyance, among notable comedy Theaters. Additionally she's a standup and storyteller.
She toured as "The Union" with her husband Corey Rittmaster, performing in festivals all over the country.
She also teaches sketch and improv for adults and kids, having worked for The Second City and Laugh Out Loud theater, as well as one-offs for festivals and other special events.
She's available for hire as a corporate facilitator and role-player, using improvisational skills, as she has extensive experience in this area as well. Clients include Merck, RWJBH, Medtronics, Amgen, Boeing, McDonalds, Humana, Kraft Foods, AT&T, American Heart Association, and the UCLA Anderson School of Management
